We spent most of Monday up at Bogus Basin skiing. Well, the hubby and kids did, I spent the day working on stuff in the lodge and taking care of whoever was in there at the moment too tired or cold to be on the slopes. We got quite a few good pictures of the kids. We have an inversion here Boise right now. So, down here, you can't se the sun. And it's so cold. But, at about 5000 feet on the drive up you have blue sky and it's sooooo nice.
Don't they all look so excited to be leaving at 8 am on a day off from school.
Looking up from the bottom of Bogus Basin Road.
Once we hit the fog, everything was frozen like this.
And this was about as far ahead as we could see.
Once we broke through the fog, blue sky, all the way.

Carter and Derek (Bill's son)
And on the way home, everyone was ready to drop.
Last picture, I promise. On the way down, you can't see it very well, but where the horizon ends, down below is all white clouds again. Here's hoping we get a storm in the next few days so we can get rid of this dirty air.

Inversions stink! (Be glad I didn't use the word that came to mind first.) Looks like a great day. We've got the same kind of inversion crumminess here. It makes me sicker.
I hear ya on the inversion thing! It's horrible! Let's pray for a storm. I love the pictures!
Awesome pics. I can't believe how big the kids are getting. Carter skiing, that's cool!
Great pics, Mikki! It's worth the drive up to Bogus just to see some blue sky.
